A screenshot of a static QR can be shared infinitely. By the time duplicates reach the gate, the organiser has already lost the revenue.

A QR bound to the buyer's account that rotates cannot be usefully screenshotted.

Gates frequently have poor connectivity. A scanner that works offline and reconciles on sync prevents queues and double entry.

Can Zuma tickets be resold?

They can be transferred in-app, which re-binds the code to the new holder.

Does gate scanning work without internet?

Yes. Scans queue locally and sync when signal returns.
