What Zuma does in Uganda

Zuma operates as a single account covering rides, food delivery, online shopping, pharmacy, property, jobs, logistics, travel and payments in Uganda. One login, one wallet, one rating across all of them.

Paying

In Uganda you can pay with MTN MoMo and Airtel Money. Prices display in the local currency with no foreign card required. Wallet-to-wallet transfers between Zuma accounts are free.

The local alternatives

Uganda already has strong players — SafeBoda, Jumia and Glovo among them. Each does its own vertical well. The difference is that using them means several apps, several balances and several identities.

Zuma is not claiming to beat each of them at their own vertical on day one. It is offering one account that covers all of those needs with money that moves between them.

Getting started

Register with your phone number. Full identity verification is only required once you exceed the entry wallet limit, so you can start using services immediately.

For businesses and earners

Drivers, vendors, landlords, pharmacies and restaurants can list on Zuma in Uganda. Settlement is in local currency on the agreed cycle, and activity builds a credit score that unlocks financing.
